Our Hand-Picked Premium Farms
We are committed to driving lasting social and environmental change, so we are very selective about the farms we work with. We stay in close contact with all our farms on a weekly basis and we collaborate with the farms to help us address important social issues affecting labor and working conditions. This partnership guarantees humane treatment of workforce, good health care, schooling and proper food for the workforce. The result is premium flowers without premium cost.
Our sustainable and eco-friendly farms are based in Ecuador, Colombia, Thailand, the Netherlands, and the US. Our certified farms guarantee wide variety, rich availability and excellent quality of flowers. Check out our blog to meet some of our farmers directly.
A closer look on our country selection will explain why we focus on the countries we do.
Ecuador is one of the world’s largest exporters of cut flowers and is specialized in roses. Being located on mountain slopes, Ecuadorian farms possess the geographic advantage of having sunshine all year round. This ensures a constant supply of high-quality flowers, even in the winter time.
Colombia is one of the world’s foremost producers of flowers, with an annual export value in excess of $1 billion. Colombian farms are the main suppliers of several exotic flowers such as Alstroemerias, Chrysanthemums, Hydrangeas, Foliage, Summer flowers and many other species.
Thailand is thé country in Asia with the greatest number of orchids and therefore also the leading exporter of this precious flower. We currently carry a wide variety of orchids coming directly out of Thailand, including Ancidium, Aranthera, Dendrobium, Mokara and Vanda.
The Netherlands is still the leading country in the flower industry. Most people think Tulips when thinking of the Netherlands, but the country has other exclusive and high-end top-quality products such as Freesias, Orchids, Peonies, Hyacinthus, Amaryllis and much more.
Our US flower farms are spread throughout the country, but with a high focus within California. These farms supply us with over 100 flower types. Amongst the most popular are Pepper Berries, Lilies, Corn Flowers, Gardenias, and lots more – including greens and foliage.
