A leading company in Colombia’s flower industry, FLORES FUNZA boasts over 200 hectares of production and more than 30 products available on a year-round basis. Utilizing this strong foundation, the company has built long-lasting relationships with a broad base of customers in different countries around the world.
The dream began in 1976 when four entrepreneurs realized the natural advantages that a nation like COLOMBIA (Not Columbia), with its fantastic location in the Equator line in South America, could offer to what was an incipient industry at the time. The weather, the richness of its soil, a stable source of clean water and most importantly, the hard work and honest nature of the people in this country, were the initial ingredients of what FLORES FUNZA is today: an industry leader and a customer-driven organization.
More than 40 years of experience setting high standards for the industry guided by our strict principles and values have allowed us to remain one of the most recognized floral exporters in the world. Because we recognize our customers’ needs, we grow a product that has been recognized and awarded as one of the best. Our customers see us as their partners as they strive to grow their own businesses. The incredible variety of flowers we grow and our commitment to the highest quality standards allow us to sell our products to customers in more than 25 countries in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
FLORES FUNZA and its more than 200 Ha (494 acres) are dedicated to growing and nurturing products such as Roses, Alstroemerias, Carnations, Spray Carnations, and other type of flowers, utilizing methods that are socially and environmentally responsible. We believe our business, the growth of our employees and caring for our environment are STRENGTHENED together. Organizations like Rainforest and SGS certify our efforts due to our commitment and actions to develop, promote, and implement responsible codes of conduct and sustainable agricultural practices. We CARE, and we believe in what we do.
