How to handle tinted flowers and roses. Using dyed flowers in your arrangement is an opportunity for a whole new level of creativity! Some event themes call for flower colors that cannot be found in nature. Tinted flowers are perfectly suitable to shake things up and to let your imagination run wild through the most beautiful colors that you can imagine. The general handling process of tinted flowers or roses is just about the same as a standard flower or rose but there are a few things that you should keep in mind. Here are some tips & tricks that you should know to get the most out of your flowers & arrangement! Keep the tinted roses and flowers in their own separate bucket of water. The stem dye changes that watercolor and could therefore affect the other flowers in the bucket. Since the water inside the container will most likely change color, you might want to choose a container that isn't clear. Tinted roses last typically way longer than a standard rose. The petals on tinted roses will not turn transparent or mold as quickly as a regular rose. if the leaves become wet, the dye could seep through so be careful with your clothes when handling and processing the flowers. Advise your customers when they are purchasing so they can be sure to avoid this also. Florists & designers will often use picks in bouquets or arrangements for holidays such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, or St. Patrick's Day. Make sure that these are made of treated wood or plastic in order to avoid fungal bacterial growth in the vases. Tip: Be very careful to avoid using tinted roses or flowers at a wedding. As the tint could sometimes bleed onto the bride's white dress. iBuyflowers has an extensive tinted roses wholesale assortment available, only from premium growers.

The latest addition to our wide assortment of fresh flowers and plants are Air Plants! • Tillandsia • Now new in our marketplace assortment from our Premium grower Van Dijk Bloemen from the Netherlands These really cute low-maintenance plants are officially named Tillandsia and they have the special ability to live entirely off of nutrients and moisture in the air in their native habitats. How fascinating is that? When it comes to house plants, air plants are some of the easiest plants to care for and require very little maintenance. They don't even need soil! That's one of the main reasons why they are perfect for hanging decoration. You can put them on a little stand, leave them hanging from a decoration hanger, or incorporate them in your floral designs. Either way air plants are a nice green addition to brighten any setting regardless of the season. Although the plant doesn't grow in soil, it does have roots. He just uses these roots to cling to objects or attach themselves rather than utilize them to absorb nutrients. 🛒 Discover the Air Plants now on our marketplace 🛒 In these couple of simple steps, you will become an air plant master! 🌿 1. Hydrate! Hydrate! Once a week, dunk them in a container large enough to fully submerge your air plant and just let them sit there. Let them bathe for a couple of hours or so. Or even easier, let them sleep on it and leave them in water overnight. 2. Shake it off! After they are soaked, the plant needs to fully dry! Shake off some excess water and let him air dry. make sure that he has enough space around him to breathe. If you let him dry in an almost-closed decoration glass, which is sometimes used to hang them, it can be that your air plant gets moldy. 3. Sunbathing is essential, but be aware, not too much! When you give the Tillandsia some (morning) direct sunlight he will be super happy! But make sure you don't let him bake all day. We wouldn't like that either, would we? If the tips are getting too dry, it might be a sign that your plant is sunbathing just a little too much and needs a little less direct sunlight. We have a lot of different Air Plant species waiting for you in our marketplace! 4. Breathe in, breathe out. Glass terrariums are super decorative and look great but be aware, the air plant needs air circulation as well! Make sure your plant has enough space to breath in fresh air. 5 Spray A perfect way to keep your Tillandsia hydrated during the week is to give him some spray misting. Keep track of the weather, just like us they like more water when it's hot and dry outside and need less watering when it's cold and damp. 💧 When your air plant is getting a little too thirsty or dried out the leaves will slightly curl inwards. ☀️ Originally air plants come from warmer tropical climates, so they will appreciate a nice warm temperature spot in your home as well. 🌎 USDA Zones: 10-11 📆 Peak Season: Year-round 🛒 Flowers marketplace 🛒
