Lilies are beautiful cut flowers and can make an arrangement look elegant and classic. There are three primary groups of Lilium; Oriental Lilies, Asiatic Lilies, and Easter Lilies. Their storage temperature should be around: 36-38F and the best way to handle Lilies is to cut or break the stem with a sharp knife two to three inches of the end. Then hydrate in a solution of lukewarm water and  floral food for two hours before you store then or use them in your arrangements.
