Role Summary

The Associate Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving customer success and long-term loyalty. This junior role carries a smaller territory ($1M) with the intention of building larger territory ownership over time.

You’ll manage relationships with new and returning customers, ensuring every buyer experiences a smooth onboarding process and consistent order success — guiding them confidently to their 10th order milestone and beyond.

This is a customer-first, relationship-driven sales role focused on nurturing, education, reactivation, and proactive problem-solving.

What You'll Do

Customer Retention

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase lifetime value and repeat orders.
  • Implement strategies to maintain engagement and reduce churn across key customer segments.

Onboarding & Education

  • Guide new customers through the full onboarding process — from first order to their 10th — ensuring they understand platform features, product options, and best practices.
  • Proactively follow up after first orders to ensure satisfaction and identify support needs early.

Sales Growth

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities that enhance customer experience and drive order frequency.
  • Increase share of wallet by encouraging customers to explore new categories and seasonal products.

Reactivation & Win-Back

  • Re-engage inactive or churned customers through personalized outreach and promotions.
  • Develop simple retention playbooks for recovering at-risk accounts.

Account Management

  • Monitor account health, proactively resolve issues, and ensure customers receive timely support from operations and customer service teams.

Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate customer records in HubSpot, track order progress, and report insights and trends to leadership.

Collaboration


    • Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless, consistent customer experience.

What You'll Bring

  • 1-2 years in B2B sales, account management, or customer success (floral industry experience required)
  • Proven ability to retain, grow, and re-engage customer accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and CRM skills (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven attitude
  • Passion for customer success and a genuine interest in the floral or event industry
  • The candidate needs to be self-directed and organized.
  • Experience in wedding & events floral industry required
