About iBuyFlowers

Founded in 2016 by Wilfred de Wit — a Dutch lily grower's son with deep roots in the floral industry — iBuyFlowers is a fast-growing online marketplace revolutionizing how flower professionals source their blooms.

We empower U.S. customers to order the freshest, highest-quality flowers directly from over 100 global farms, 24/7 through our platform. By eliminating the middleman, we guarantee farm-fresh quality, competitive pricing, and reliable service.

As a scale-up, iBuyFlowers operates globally with clients across the U.S., a dedicated IT team in Colombia, and an e-commerce team in the Netherlands.

The Opportunity

Help interested buyers become first-time customers.

iBuyFlowers acquires hundreds of new guest accounts every month: floral professionals who have registered but not yet placed an order. You will own the follow-up with your assigned guest accounts, understand their needs and help them complete their first purchase. As the first touchpoint customers have with iBuyFlowers, you will represent the brand in every conversation.

This is a high-volume outbound calling role. The expectation is 300+ logged activities per week (calls and follow-ups) in HubSpot. Most of every day is spent on the phone: dialing leads, qualifying interest and closing first orders. Candidates should be energized by pace, repetition and measurable daily output.

The role is built for someone early in their career who wants to sharpen their sales fundamentals through repetition and build discipline, resilience and pipeline management skills. It comes with structured outreach, clear targets and regular coaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work your assigned inbound guest-account pipeline, providing timely contact and consistent follow-up.
  • Qualify prospects by business type, buying needs, purchase timing and potential.
  • Decide which accounts are worth pursuing and which to deprioritize, based on qualification and buying potential.
  • Contact prospects by phone and email, following the agreed outreach sequences.
  • Explain how iBuyFlowers works and guide customers through their first order.
  • Involve an experienced colleague when an opportunity requires additional commercial support.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including qualification, next actions and outcomes.
  • Transfer first-time buyers to the designated onboarding or Account Management owner with clear context.
  • Share recurring objections and customer feedback to improve the acquisition approach.

Success Measures

  • New first-time buyers from assigned leads.
  • Guest-to-first-order conversion.
  • Timeliness and consistency of lead follow-up.
  • Weekly outreach activity volume (target: 300+ logged calls and follow-ups).
  • CRM accuracy and handoff quality.

What You Bring

  • Approximately 0–2 years of relevant sales, customer service or customer outreach experience.
  • Floral industry experience.
  • Confidence speaking with customers and asking for the sale.
  • Strong organization and reliable follow-through.
  • Willingness to learn, receive feedback and work toward measurable targets.
  • Comfort using digital tools; CRM experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The annual base salary for this role ranges from $45,000 to $63,000, plus a performance-based bonus structure to be determined.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Remote working flexibility.
  • Laptop and work-from-home setup stipend.

Development Opportunities

Strong performers can progress toward Business Development Executive or Account Management opportunities, depending on demonstrated capability and available roles.
