About iBuyFlowers

Founded in 2016 by Wilfred de Wit — a Dutch lily grower’s son with deep roots in the floral industry — iBuyFlowers is a fast-growing online marketplace revolutionizing how flower professionals source their blooms.

We empower U.S. customers to order the freshest, highest-quality flowers directly from over 100 global farms, 24/7 through our platform. By eliminating the middleman, we guarantee farm-fresh quality, competitive pricing, and reliable service.

As a scale-up, iBuyFlowers operates globally with clients across the U.S., a dedicated IT team in Colombia, and an e-commerce team in the Netherlands.

Role Summary

You will create content that helps professional floral buyers discover iBuyFlowers, understand our offering and feel confident ordering from us.
Working closely with our marketing team, you will bring an authentic US perspective to our content, combining floral expertise with strong photography, video and storytelling skills

What You'll Do

  • Create photos and short-form videos: Plan, shoot and edit content for social media, paid advertising, email campaigns and our website.
  • Bring our flowers to life: Style arrangements and show products in use, highlighting varieties, colors, quality and practical applications.
  • Share useful floral knowledge: Create content around flower selection, care, seasonal inspiration and sourcing for shops, weddings and events.
  • Tell customer stories: Collaborate with florists and event professionals to capture their work, experiences and use of iBuyFlowers.
  • Write supporting copy: Develop clear captions, short scripts and product-focused text tailored to professional floral buyers.
  • Contribute ideas and improve results: Bring relevant US trends and customer insights to the team, and use performance feedback to improve future content.
  • Deliver organized, reusable assets: Follow agreed briefs and deadlines, providing content in the formats needed across our marketing channels.

What You'll Bring

  • A strong portfolio of photography and short-form video, ideally within flowers, floral design or a related visual industry.
  • Hands-on floral design experience or a strong understanding of how professional florists and event designers work.
  • Confidence producing content independently, from concept and styling to filming and editing.
  • Strong English writing skills and an understanding of the US market.
  • Experience with relevant editing tools, such as Canva, CapCut, Lightroom or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A reliable, organized working style and the ability to collaborate with an international marketing team.
  • US-based availability and access to a suitable space for creating floral content.

Experience creating paid social ad content or appearing on camera is a plus.

Schedule and Availability

This is a remote role for approximately 10–15 hours per week, working closely with our marketing team.

We will agree on a focused content plan and realistic production schedule based on the available hours. Flower sourcing, materials and any travel required for shoots will be coordinated in advance.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Flexible working hours and remote collaboration.
  • Creative ownership of your content, supported by clear marketing priorities.
  • The opportunity to work with a wide range of flowers and tell stories from across the floral industry.
  • Compensation based on experience and the agreed scope.
