Nevado Roses

Founded in 1997, Nevado Roses is one of Ecuador’s most respected premium rose growers and exporters. With 49 hectares of fertile land across the Cotopaxi province one of Ecuador’s top regions for rose cultivation the farm employs over 500 dedicated and skilled team members.

The company’s founder, Roberto Nevado, began his floral journey in 1965 exporting fresh-cut flowers from Spain, later expanding into Colombia and eventually establishing Nevado Roses in Ecuador in 1995. His passion for quality and innovation quickly positioned the farm as a leader in the Ecuadorian floral industry.

Nevado Roses operates two farms at altitudes of 2,780 m and 3,000 m above sea level, where the unique climate and sunlight produce strong stems and vivid blooms. The farm’s commitment to ethical and sustainable practices is reflected in its multiple certifications including Fair Trade Max Havelaar, Fair Trade USA, Flor Ecuador, Rainforest Alliance, and BASC.

Beyond flowers, Nevado Roses invests deeply in its people and community offering scholarships, home-improvement programs, health services, and other initiatives that improve quality of life.
